When the sun goes down on Saturday, November 15th, 2014, the light from hundreds of headlamps will bob and weave along the Bow River Pathway as enthusiasts and supporters of visually impaired Albertans join in sight night Calgary – a fun run after dark.

Raising funds and awareness for the Alberta Sports and Recreation Association for the Blind (ASRAB), sight night, presented by Flaman Fitness, is more than just another run. It is a vision-optional event. Runners who are visually impaired will share the path with sighted runners. The after-dark timing makes it a more even playing field!

Enthusiastic participants will gather at Eau Claire Market for a 5K or 8K run or 3K run/walk on the Bow River Pathway and all registrants will receive a high quality headlamp – the sight night light!

REGISTER

The sight night event has been designed so that anyone who wants to, can participate and have a unique and memorable experience. You can choose to register for the 3K walk/run if  you are out for the experience, or take on a new challenge and register for the 5K or 8K fun run. Regardless of what distance you choose, everyone is welcome and you are guaranteed to have a great time!

Online registration closes on November 12^th at 11:59 p.m. You can still register in person at Package Pick Up as well as in person on event day.
