Pick Up the Park Event (Sponsored by TD Park’s People)

Time: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm; staggered group starts in various areas of the park, 2 hours each.
With your family or a small group, come help clean up the Park to kick off the Summer! While Covid-19 has presented us all with many challenges and changes, this will be a wonderful way to get active, build community, and spend quality time with friends, family, or co-workers.
Get your group/partners together! We are encouraging family participation, or 2 meters of physical distancing between group members. To ensure we keep our numbers below those recommended as per Covid-19 public health guidelines, the maximum group size is 12 people at each clean up location. Group starts will be staggered to ensure they are in different areas and working at different times (you choose your time and area when you register).
This Pick Up the Park event is supported by TD Park People Grants program. TD Park People Grants program is providing essential funding to support park groups in delivering over 334 awesome nature-based activities that foster environmental education, sustainability and stewardship in cities across Canada. Together, TD and Park People are helping to bring Canadians together to unlock the power of parks because they know that when people are connected to nature in their parks and communities, people are happier and communities feel more connected to nature and each other.
