Two events for Peace Weekend
1) 10th Calgary Peace Walk Sat, Mar 25, beginning 2pm at north end of Peace Bridge at Memorial Drive, N.W.
All ages, faiths, & backgrounds are invited to join the short walk through downtown to make a positive statement & create a sense of global community. The first 25 walkers arriving before 2pm receive a clean, filled stainless steel water bottle.
2) Movie Matinee Sun, Mar 26, 1pm at Willow Ridge Community Assoc. is “Rooted in Peace”, a film journey to take notice of the world we live in, proactively seek ways to find personal & ecological peace, & stop violence.
