This charitable event is for all-ages! It is a free intergenerational, family friendly event that will bring light to the Senior-Youth relationships that are so important to strengthening community and the exploration of knowledge between generations. Our organization’s ability to hold important events like this is due to large in part of the warmth we receive from the Calgary community, and we hope to see you be part of this community as well! There will be Bands, Performances, and Activities that everyone can enjoy! Drop in between 11:30 am – 2:00 pm (JUNE 1, 2017).

LINKages facilitates intergenerational programs and services that encourage involvement, transfer of knowledge, and capitalize on the strengths of youth and seniors to foster strong Alberta communities. Founded as Friends of Seniors in 1994, LINKages brings over twenty years of intergenerational wisdom to its goal to overcome ageist stereotypes, encourage community involvement, and inspire personal development through intergenerational relationships. LINKages believes that Albertans of all ages need to be valued, respected and appreciated for their experiences and potential.
