OVERVIEW
Celebrate the holiday season with the warmth and nostalgia of holiday music with Harp Angel and Friends at the historic St. Stephen’s Anglican Church in downtown Calgary. Calgary Meals on Wheels presents “An enchanting Christmas concert with the magic of the Golden harp (Harp Angel, Deborah Nyack), violin (James Desautels) & baritone vocalist (Paulie Vie)”.
ABOUT: As an international recording harpist, Deborah’s harp performances are heralded as a creative blend of virtuosic technique and sensitive expressions of her interpretations and arrangements.
Deborah trained at Eastman & Julliard , New York, USA, at the Royal Academy of Music London, England and the Banff Centre, Canada. She holds a Bachelor of Music, highest honours, Masters of Music, & awarded a Performer’s Diploma for outstanding performances. Harp Angel is on the Faculty of the Banff Centre for the Arts.
100% of profits at this event will support Calgary Meals on Wheels programs to ensure Calgarians who are in need of affordable, nutritious meals regardless of age, ability, or life circumstances get the support they need.
DETAILS
7:15: p.m. DOORS OPEN – Seating, Raffle ticket sales, cash wine and beer available $5 per beverage (closed during concert)
8:00 p.m. DOORS CLOSED – Concert begins (late entry is not permitted so please arrive and be seated by 8 p.m.)
9:00 p.m. Concert concludes. Raffle Draw on stage
Tickets – $30 each non-refundable but you may transfer to another name. You MUST have your ticket with you to enter the concert.
**Remaining seats will be sold starting 7:45 pm only but we expect a sellout concert.
Seating – No reserved seats except Wheelchair access ticketholders and their party. Balcony seats have a great view of the stage – bench style seats only
Wheelchair access – Please book wheelchair accessible tickets and indicate the number of regular ticket holders with you in comment section. Elevator access to the lower level washroom.
Parking – STREET PARKING ONLY
*Limited reserved parking spaces for wheelchair unloading & loading only in front of the church.
**We suggest that you arrive early to find nearby street parking as doors close at 8 p.m. sharp.
