Global Day of Prayer for the Muslim World

November 13, 2021

| FREE

The Fellowship of Faith for the Muslims (FFM), is a Christian organization that provides prayer, information and literature service for Christians who are concerned with praying and sharing the Gospel with Muslims. FFM began in the United Kingdom in 1915, after Samuel Zwemer, known as the apostle to Islam, challenged the attendees at the Keswick Convention to turn their eyes toward the vast and unreached mission field that was the Muslim world. And in 1951, a Canadian missionary couple who caught the vision opened an office here in North America (www.ffmna.org). Since its inception, the organization has been spurring prayers for the Muslim world and equipping Christians for building Christ-centered friendships with their Muslim neighbours. One of the ways we are able to do both is through our quarterly Days of Prayer for the Muslim world.

The Day of Prayer is a time where Christians gather for a time of prayer, worship and equipping. We have been inviting different missionaries and ministry leaders, serving here in Canada and abroad, to share about their work among the Muslims and we would spend time praying for them and the different people groups that they serve. We usually schedule the Day of Prayer from 9am-3pm (EST) but this coming November 13th, FFM will be hosting a 24-hr. Global Day of Prayer for the Muslim World. We are partnering with FFM UK and other prayer networks in New Zealand and India to organize a 24hr. online prayer session (more details on the attached flyer, including how to register and the different time slots that people can sign up for).
