Please join the Choir for an evening of timeless sacred music at First Baptist Church.

Core Celebration is a citywide worship gathering featuring a rich musical program including choir, instrumentalists, singers, and many local musicians from the professional and church communities within our city.

Our guest speaker is Ashwin Ramani, Centre Street Church’s community pastor and teaching pastor. Pastor Ashwin Ramani didn’t grow up as a Christian. Originally from India, he grew up as an orthodox Hindu. In 2001 an internet chat room would be the first time Ashwin heard about the message of Jesus. After a few months of journeying and learning about who Jesus is, Ashwin began to fall in love with the message and power of the gospel. ”I knew that God was getting my attention through this whole experience. The Holy Spirit was at work and it was like the blindfold was being removed and the light just came in” says Ashwin.
