Grace Presbyterian Church wants to know what you, as a Calgarian, think about church. To find out, Grace is hosting a free public lecture titled “Church: Awesome or Awful?” with a question and answer period on Friday, May 3, at 7:30 p.m. The session is presented by the Rev. Dr. Lillian Daniel, an American preacher, teacher and author of several books including Tired of Apologizing for a Church I Don’t Belong To: Spirituality Without Stereotypes, Religion Without Ranting and When “Spiritual But Religious” is Not Enough: Seeing God in Surprising Places, Even the Church. The lecture kicks off the fourth annual Preaching Grace event, running May 3, 4 and 5.
