Come on out to the 6th annual Bethlehem Walk in Three Hills, AB on December 4, 5, 11 and 12 from 6:30 pm till 8:30 pm each evening at the Tickle Trunk on Main Street Three Hills. This year’s show has approximately 100 actors from the Three Hills area ranging in age from two months to 80 years, from seven different local churches.

The journey through Bethlehem takes you to another time and place. Work was hard and the Roman government wanted everyone to be counted so that the taxes could be increased. Carpenters and fish mongers worked side by side. Water was drawn from a common well while Roman soldiers looked on. Women shopped for beautiful cloth, vegetables and fruit. The rabbi in the synagogue read from scrolls.

Come and enjoy travelling back in time, enter through the gates and be counted by the census takers. Watch a women weaving cloth, see the bread being baked. Try your hand at writing Hebrew letters in the sand. Taste authentic food, hear the animals bleating, smell the spices in the air and see the Reason for the Season; the baby in the manger.

All performances are presented as a gift to the community. While there is no entrance fee, any donations made (to the tax collectors) this year will be going entirely to the Three Hills Christmas Hamper program. Apple Cider and cookies will be available.
