They come from afar, infiltrating our landscapes and squeezing out the local inhabitants. Many of us are complicit in facilitating their spread, but few understand the impact that a a seemingly harmless
garden sprout can have on our beloved local ecosystems. Come learn about the importance of native plants, how their existence is threatened by the continued spread of invasive plants, and what we can do about it. Starting from the Cookhouse at the Bow Valley Ranch, this walking tour will be on primarily flat ground and is approximately 3.5 km in total.
