The Calgary Icebreaker Polar Dip has gone virtual this year: the average time that a participant spent in the frozen lake was about 11 seconds. Therefore, we present the #11SecondIceDip challenge!
Almost everyone has access to a bathtub; almost everyone is on social media in some way; if we challenge one another to do the 11 second dip in a ice bath, we can raise some serious funds to help fight human trafficking! All proceeds from this challenge will go to the SAFoundation; an organization that started right here in Calgary and provides safe housing, recovery programs and job skills training to women and their children escaping sexual exploitation and human trafficking.
