Big Daddy Weave
Big Daddy Weave’s third album was released in 2005. It featured some special guests on one of the tracks. BarlowGirl preformed vocals on You’re Worthy of My Praise.
Despite the release of an album it was a devastating time for Big Daddy Weave. Their home state of Louisiana was hit by a hurricane. Their homes were damaged and their office was completely destroyed. Mike and Jay’s parents also lost their home to the storm. Big Daddy Weave came back strong with the album Every Time I Breathe in 2006.
What Life Would Be Like came out July 2008. It includes a new take on a Phil Collins classic Another Day in Paradise as well as originals like the title track What Life Would Be Like. In 2009 released a Christmas album called Christ is Come. At the onset of that year Mike Weaver also decided it was time he did something about his weight and announced he would try to loose 90 pounds in ’09. When all was said and done he came just shy of his goal having dropped 84 pounds.
The band’s latest release is a ‘best of’ album calle Big Daddy Weave The Ultimate Collection. Itfeatures 14 hits and one new song entitled “Love Come to Life”.
