I grew up in a Christian home and was taught Godly morals and values. My father fell into a depression because we had a large family and he had a lot of bills when i was about 9 years old. I started growing apart from my family and the church, At age 14 I was the leader of a street gang and it started me on a journey that would build me to be a man of God. By the age of 18 I had been in 6 gangs was in an out of cyoc and on probation from the age of 14 til 24. I started coming back into gods arms at 22 after having my son but it was a journey in itself. I started talking to youth and trying to help them avoid the life i lived and the mistakes i made. I fell off the boat multiple times in the last few years and each time i was brought closer to God. Today Im still trying to help out people who are living the lifestyle i had grown accustom too and still praying that God will open the doors for me to serve him. I listen to shine whenever i drive because it takes me away from the pain that has plagued me for so long i have quit drinking qand doing drugs and its all because of GOD, And shine fm. Thank you for everything God bless you all and know that your radio station has been a big help for me all along in staying sober and getting my relationship with God back to where it belongs.
