John MacKenzie Henderson, better known as "Johnny Mac", claims the title of Time magazines's 2006 "Person of the year". Johnny Mac's first big break happened in 1984 when he was born. Relatives described him as "A fresh-faced rising star" and "An infant". By the age of 9, Johnny Mac had traded the sunny beaches of southern California for the bitter cold winters of the Canadian Prairies. Years later, armed with only his intellect, Johnny Mac graduated with a broadcasting diploma from Calgary's Mount Royal College. In 2003, Johnny Mac started his career in the fast-paced world of Canadian Contemporary Christian FM radio when he became part of the team at Shine FM. Join him as he takes a sideways glance at the week's news, gives out cool prizes, and of course, plays your favorite music.
