Peppered with his goofy sense of humor, Brad West keeps you informed & entertained weekday afternoons on 88.9 Shine FM. Brad shares funny stories, cool family event info, news and lots of laughs... as he plays music that you know is going to be fun & positive!

When Brad switched his education path from Business to Broadcasting about 12 years ago, it was because of his new found love of radio. He got the radio bug after hosting a late night university radio show at UBC in Vancouver. Since then, he's worked in a variety of cities, provinces...and even countries! Brad has a very adventurous spirit, which led him & his wife Carla to the Caribbean for 3 years. Brad ran a radio station in the Cayman Islands (and became an avid scuba diver!) before heading back to Canada and joining the team here at Shine FM.
