To enter the contest you must have a minimum of 4 pictures from the landmark locations listed on this page.
Submit your photos to 88.9promotions@shinefm.com via e-mail by September 11, 2011. By submitting your photos you agree to the contest rules at the bottom of the page .
From all the qualifying entries, 8 Shine Finalists or "Shinealists" will be chosen at random. On September 17, there will be a reverse draw live on the air from the 8 Shinealists for the grand prize:

Calaway Park – Western Canada’s Largest Outdoor Family Amusement Park. The park has a collection of 34 rides! Featuring numerous attractions, rides for the thrill-seekers and top-notch live entertainment. Take a picture of you and your family in front of your favorite ride.
Kicking Horse Resort - Take a scenic ride on the gondola to the top of the mountain and take a picture in front of the Eagle Eye Restaurant.
Family Picnic – Take a picture of your family having a picnic in any one of Calgary’s Park’s.
Riley Park – Take a picture of your family enjoying one of the amenities at Riley Park.
McDonald’s – I’m Lovin’ It – Take a picture of your family with the Golden Arches in the background at any of these McDonald’s locations: Foothills McDonald's: 5326 - 72 Ave SE; Marlborough McDonald's: 3660 - 12th Ave NE; Northland McDonald's: 5111 Northland Dr NW.
Bowness Park, NW Calgary – Take a picture of your family in front of the Bowness Lagoon.
Escape to the Mountains – Take a picture of your family enjoying a day in the mountains. Consider a hike in the Kananaskis, a day out in Canmore or Banff, or a hike around Lake Louise or Sunshine Meadows.
Say Hi at a Calgary’s Child / 88.9 ShineFM Event! – Take a picture of your family having fun at any Calgary’s Child Magazine / 88.9 Shine FM event.
Fort Calgary – Fort Calgary is located just east of downtown Calgary on a 40-acre site. Open year-round from 9 AM till 5 PM, the Fort offers Calgarians and their guests fun, interactive exhibits, tours and school programs. Include the buffalo in your photo.
Southland & Village Square Leisure Centres – have spectacular waterparks, twin arenas, dry sports areas, playschool classrooms, babysitting rooms, children's play rooms (Kinder Room) and birthday party spaces. Send in a picture of your family in the lobby of either Leisure Centre.
Fish Creek Park – Take a picture of your family on the pathways at Fish Creek Park.
Calgary Public Library – Take a picture inside any branch of the Calgary Public Library. Pose with your favorite books!
Calgary's Plus 15 System – Take a picture of your family exploring a Plus 15 downtown.
The Calgary Zoo – Your ticket to year-round adventure! Over 1,000 animals, a Prehistoric Park, six acres of Botanical Gardens and more! Take a picture of your family in front of your favorite dinosaur.

Heritage Park – Discover “How the West was Once” at Canada’s largest living history museum. Explore our year-round exhibit, Gasoline Alley Museum, and find out how the introduction of the automobile changed our culture. Meet friendly pioneers, ride our authentic steam train, enjoy the antique midway and immerse yourself in the old west. Take your family photo with the authentic Steam Engine (inside the Park).
The City of Calgary Art Circuit Tour – Take a picture of your family with one of the 14 interesting pieces from the Civic Art Collection.
Butterfield Acres – Butterfield Acres Children’s Farm, the one and only family fun experience that allows you to get up close and personal with cute and cuddly farm animals! Take a photo with your family in front of the Party Pig.
