Supporting Adoption
If you are an extended family member, friend , or a support system to someone who is in the midst of adopting, or who has adopted, then this workshop is for you. Please join us for a free 2-hour seminar on practical ways that you can support those who have chosen to adopt.
Topics Include:
•Practical ways to help individuals or couples who have chosen to adopt
•How to help with the building of 'attachment'
•What to expect when a child has been traumatized
•Common myths
