Time Magazine Cover Controversy: can't we just get along?!

By now you may have seen something in the news about this Time Magazine cover featuring a mom breastfeeding her three year old son.

Whatever your opinion is on attachment parenting or other styles of parenting, my question is this: WHY DO WE HAVE TO FIGHT ABOUT THIS, PEOPLE?

Can't we just agree that parenting is a tough enough job as it is, be on each other's team about it, and ask God for all the wisdom we need to raise our kids in a way that glorifies Him?

Maybe it's not that simple. But I have to tell you, over the past year and a half or so since my first child (a lovely girl) was born, I have been caught in the crossfire of all the different styles of parenting advice that is out there. And I have finally found myself in the place of "OH PLEASE ALREADY! THIS PARENTING THING IS THE TOUGHEST IN THE WORLD, AND I NEED SOMETHING MORE THAN DR. SO AND SO'S PRESCRIPTION FOR RAISING THE PERFECT CHILD... I NEED GOD'S GRACE!!"

Lord, help me raise my child well - guide me each step of the way and help me to figure out the important stuff in time!
