New Tiger at the Zoo!

Have you seen the zoo's new tiger? His name is Baikal. He came to the zoo in January, but is making his first public appearance today. He's a Siberian tiger.

"Siberian (Amur) tigers are most commonly found in Russia, but are classified as endangered under the IUCN (International Union of Conservation for Nature) Red List, the most comprehensive source of information on the conservation status of plants and animals around the world."
