Soulfood - The Lord is Gracious and Compassionate

This morning I was thinking about the character of our God, and Psalm 145 popped into my head. I wasn't sure what I would find there, but when I opened it up to read it, verse 8 jumped out at me. Look at all the amazing descriptors in it: GRACIOUS. COMPASSIONATE. SLOW TO ANGER. RICH IN LOVE. God is everything I am not. He is the only one who can fill me with the things in I need most: more grace and compassion, a slowness to anger, a richness in love. Today, I pray Lord that you would fill me!
