Food activist Paul Hughes has entered the race, promising a new way of thinking and an open-door policy.
“I’m jumping in,” the chairman of the Calgary Food Policy Council said. “Twenty per cent of Calgarians voted in the last municipal election. Eighty per cent of the population is not engaged with local government.
“I would like to facilitate people believing they can make a difference.”
