Shine's Kitchen Winner - Apple/Rhubarb Pie!Everyone that's tried it, loves it. I'm sure we will Marie!

2 c. rhubarb cubes 2 c. apple slices
1 c. white sugar 3 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. allspice
1/4 tsp. nutmeg dobs of butter or margarine
Pastry for a 2 crusted pie I can send you the recipe for never fail pastry, if you like.
Combine flour, sugar, and spices. Mix well. Sprinkle mixture over cut up rhubarb and apples, and toss well so apples and rhubarb are well covered. Scoop fruit mixture into prepare pie shell. Put dobs of butter or margarine on top. Then cover with top crust that's been cut in fancy pattern to allow heat to penetrate well, plus adds to beauty of your masterpiece. Make fancy edging.
Bake at 400* F. for 15 minutes, then reduce temperature to 350* F. for about 45 minutes till filling is tender.
Enjoy with ice cream or whipping cream [cool whip or whip topping in spray can is good too!]
