The Canadian Black Book is considered the authority on used vehicle values and on Wednesday executives announced their Retained Value Awards for 2012.
The awards are in recognition of those vehicles which have retained the highest percentage of the original price. This year they looked at 2008 models in 17 categories.
The winners are:
- Sub-Compact Car – Honda Fit
- Compact Car – Volkswagen Golf
- Mid-Size Car – Subaru Outback tied with Honda Accord
- Full-Size Car – Toyota Avalon Entry
- Luxury Car – BMW 1 Series
- Luxury Car – Lexus GS series
- Premium Luxury Car – Lexus LS Series
- Sports Car – Dodge Challenger
- Premium Sports Car – Audi R8
- Compact SUV – Jeep Wrangler
- Mid-Size SUV – Toyota FJ Cruiser
- Full-Size SUV – Toyota Sequoia
- Luxury SUV – BMW X6 Minivan – Honda Odyssey
- Full-Size Vans – Dodge Sprinter
- Small Pick-up – Toyota Tacoma
- Full-Size Pick-up – Toyota Tundra
