Harvest Chicken
Our family loves this simple yet "gourmet" meal. It is the perfect dish to serve guests.
For a nine by thirteen pan
approx 6 chicken breasts cut up in serving size pieces
2 cans of Campbell's mushroom soup
milk - about 1 soup can to form a sauce
2 cups of grated cheese
salt, pepper, garlic to taste
place chicken in bottom of dish
mix soup, milk and spices then pour over chicken
top with grated cheese
Place in oven @ 350 for 40 min
while cooking, make stuffing, I usually just use a box of stovetop and mix it with extra bread pieces
when chicken has cooked for 40 min remove from oven and top with stuffing. return chicken to oven for 20 more min
serve chicken with steamed carrots and broccoli,( I steam mini carrots first because they take longer, and when they are soft I put the broccoli in with the carrots for a couple min longer) also boiled mini red potatoes and don't forget the cranberry sauce. This meal has an outstanding presentation and serves up perfectly. When you dish up a serving of chicken the stuffing will stay on top and looks great.
